 [. . . ] The 565SD microphone is a dual-impedance,  unidirectional dynamic microphone with a strong,  wire-mesh,  spherical front grille that contains a highly effective wind and "pop" filter.  [. . . ] Loosen plug element by turning slotted setscrew counterclockwise (turn counterclockwise to lower screw into plug element). Be careful not to stretch or break wires. To test two microphones and their cables for common polarity,  connect them to an amplifier and talk or sing into them while holding them three or four inches apart. The sound from the speakers should be the same when talking into either microphone or directly between them if they have common polarity.
