It works as follows It consists of several independently controlled inductors. When the zone is working, those inductors that are not covered by cookware are automatically turned off. To ensure that the cookware is detected and heat is distributed evenly, correctly centre the cookware: H in the upper or lower part of the flexible zone, when the cookware is smaller than 13 cm. (see diagram) H or in one of the two halves of the flexible zone, when the cookware is larger than 13 cm. (see diagram) When using cookware of a different size or made of a different material, noise and vibrations that do not affect correct working of the zone may occur. Switching the childproof lock on and off The hob must be switched off. To switch on: touch the # symbol for approximately 4 seconds. To switch off: touch the # symbol for approximately 4 seconds. The hob is unlocked. Automatic childproof lock Switching on and off This function automatically activates the childproof lock every time you switch the hob off.
