Changing the language for voice prompt and pre-recorded announcement The answer machine has already been preset at the factory. Make individual settings using the handset. Enter digit for the required language (Q = Chinese, = English) and press §OK§. Resetting fast access for the answer machine using key 1 The integrated answer machine has already been preset for fast access at the factory. However, if you have set the network mailbox for fast access (¢ page 33), you can reset this setting. When you have selected the answer machine, press and hold key 1. You can set when you want the answer machine to answer a call. the options are: Immediately , 10 sec , 18 sec or 30 sec and Auto. In Auto mode, the following applies for call acceptance: u If there are no new messages, the answer machine answers a call after 18 seconds. U If new messages are present, the answer machine accepts a call after just 10 seconds.
