When an activated answering machine is hidden it is deactivated. When it is set to show again, the answering machine returns to the status it had before it was hidden.

Specifying the number of rings before the answering machine starts
You can set when you want the answering machine to activate (after how many rings). Instead of a set number of rings, you can also choose the cost saving setting Automatic 2/4 (factory default). In this setting the answering machine activates automatically: after 2 rings if there are new messages; after 4 rings if there are no new messages. When operating remotely (page 72) by the third ring you will know that there are no new messages (otherwise the answering machine would have already activated). Precondition: You have selected an answering machine (page 63).

Select the menu item and confirm. The start time of the 2nd time section is the end time of the 1st time section, etc. . The start time of the 1st time section is the end time of the last defined time section.
