Energy saving tips 1 Install the refrigerator in a cool, well-ventilated room, making sure that it is protected from direct sunshine and is away from any heat sources. 2 Allow warm food and drinks to cool down to room temperature before putting them into the refrigerator. 3 Put frozen food into the refrigerator compartment to thaw-out so that the low temperature can be used to assist the cooling of other food in the refrigerator.
