This allows you to turn the hearing instrument on with an automatic delay of 6, 12 or 18 seconds, so that you may insert the hearing instrument into your ear without experiencing unpleasant feedback (whistling). 25 9) Changing the hearing program Your hearing instruments offers up to 4 hearing programs for specific listening environments. Each time you press the program button, your hearing instruments switch to the next program, confirming each change with an acoustic signal. 26 9) Changing the hearing program Example X Turn your hearing instruments on. X Thouroughly clean the top cover to avoid clogging of the microphone opening. X Place your hearing instruments in a "dry aid kit" with a special moisture-attracting capsule overnight. X Ask your Hearing Care Professional for special care sets and further information how to keep your hearing instruments in good condition. X Clean 29 11) Domes and Receiver Molds Your hearing instrument has either a Dome or a Receiver Mold. 2S Dome Receiver Mold Full functionality of Domes and Receiver Molds is only assured with a working C-Guard. X Have the C-Guard exchanged approximately every three months. 30 11) Domes and Receiver Molds Daily cleaning NOTICE Domes, Receiver Molds and C-Guards are easily damaged when handled wrongly.
