Please refer to the SIGMA Photo Pro User Guide, which is available in the PDF format of the supplied CD-ROM, to get information about installation of SIGMA Photo Pro software to your computer, connection between camera and computer and for detailed explanation of SIGMA Photo Pro software. 111 Thank you for purchasing the Sigma DP1 Digital Compact Camera You will get the greatest performance and enjoyment from your new DP1 camera's features by reading this instruction manual carefully before operating it. Enjoy your new Sigma camera! · Please keep this instruction booklet handy for future reference. Doing so will allow you to understand and take advantage of the camera's unique features at any time. [. . . ] to decrease TIP · Digital zoom can magnify the subject up to 3 times in 8 steps. · This function is availale in still image and movie modes. · It is possible to enlarge or reduce the size of the subject during the movie shooting. If another image quality mode is selected, the digital zoom will reactivate. · Increasing the magnification of the digital zoom will reduce the image resolution negatively. the magnication of the digital zoom will also increase the possiblity of blur caused by camera shake. · Increasing · The digital zoom function cannot be used when the camera is in MF mode. 64 IMAGE WITH SOUND It is possible to record sound for up to 10 seconds after taking a picture. This function is convenient for recording shooting information at the time of taking the photograph.
