This device is not intended for use in commercial or industrial environments. No warranty claims will be granted for damage resulting from improper use! · Do not expose the device to rain and never use it in a humid or wet environment. [. . . ] Because of the many different kinds of blank discs, computer types, operating systems, burning software and burning processes we are not able to guarantee that every "burnt" disc will playback faultlessly. Not always readable are CDs that have been produced for the commercial field. Interaction with CDs Every CD is enclosed within a hard-wearing plastic coating that protects it from external influences. Nonetheless, you must still always protect the CD against soiling and scratches. CD players can balance out minor damage on the CD. Large scratches or other damages can lead to "hangers" or similar malfunctions. For details of the correct interaction with CDs, take heed of the notices on the CD sleeve!CD+G CD+G (CD + Graphics, also CDG) is an Audio CD which contains additional data, such as song texts and/or images, that is displayed on the screen simultaneously with the music. Audio CDs with copy protection As one can learn from the press, the music industry has developed various copy protection processes to defend itself from pirate copies. Unfortunately, not all companies have yet agreed on a universal standard, thus they continually develop new processes or modify the existing ones. These newly released Audio CDs then no longer conform to the normal Audio CD Standard, and it therefore becomes difficult for the manufacturers of CD players to ensure that their devices can assimilate all of the latest copy protection methods. In individual cases it can even happen that a few copy-protected Audio CDs cannot be played back. To eliminate the possibility of a defect on the device, please test it using an older Audio CD without copy protection. The trade press advises returning copy-protected CDs back to the trade if they cause playback problems, or to ask for an Audio CD without copy protection. -5- > Repeat Step 3 for all titles to be programmed. When the programme memory is full (20 titles programmed), "- -" blinks in the CD title display. Programme playback > After entering in the last title, start the programme with the button Play 4;. All programmed titles will be played back in the sequence of the programming. Erasing the programme > Press the button STOP <, then press the button PROG and then press once again on the stop button, or open the CD compartment lid. Repeat the programme To repeat a programmed title series, after the programming press the button REPEAT twice. The indicator PROG blinks and the indicator REPEAT glows. Note: The programme memory is not erased after just a single pressing of the button STOP <. By pressing the button PLAY/PAUSE 4; a repeat of all titles takes place.
