-------------------------------------------------License type: Concurrent only Comment: Setting this option to ’YES’ allows the user to retain a license on a "borrowed" basis to operate the TI-Nspire™ software application even when not connected to the network license management server. The next value Activation_Time_Limit works in conjunction with this field. The default is the percentage of licenses that can be borrowed is 100%. You can change this setting to a lower percentage. If you need to activate more licenses for the same software in the future,  you only have to run the activation part of TI-Admin. 

Tools Installation
TI-Admin installs several tools including the activation wizard and the License Server Management software. Note: The client does not hold the license. It is installed and activated on the license server and described in this TI-Admin section. The temporary license activation comes from the server to the client via the IP address or hostname as specified in the setup. ini as described in a upcoming topic. • The TI-Admin must be run on the license management server machine. 

The Texas Instruments Activation Wizard Installer starts as soon as you open the TI-Admin application file (. exe). The Welcome is the first screen to appear. Click Next.

2. Accept the default location or click Browse to open a file manager and navigate to your location. Select the check box to ’Add a shortcut to desktop’ if desired. This indicates the administration tools have been installed.  Click Next to continue with the activation process.

—or—  Click Finish to stop at this point and delay activation.  [. . . ] The benefit is that the user can run the software when away from the network,  such as when a teacher is at a conference. The negative is that the license does not return to the group of unused licenses when the user closes the application. The used license is unavailable to anyone else until either it is returned or the time limit of the borrowed license has expired. When the borrowing term has expired,  the license is automatically returned to the group of unused licenses,  ready to be used by the next client.  [. . . ]
