When winding bobbin, move the Declutch Knob into the ( ) direction. reverse sewing lever (fig B) Reverse sewing is recommended to reinforce the seam. To Sew reverse, push the Reverse Sewing Lever as far as possible, and press on the foot controller lightly. Release the lever to return to forward sewing. (When the machine is equipped with drop feed lever) Drop feed lever (fig C) Lowering the feed teeth will enable you to control the feeding of fabric by yourself. This can be used for button sewing, darning, and embroidery. drop Feed Lever a is inside the shuttle cover. (fig B) Use zigzag sewing foot or option foot (overcasting foot). When the bobbin case tension is too tight, the thread does not slide down, or the thread jerks. When the bobbin case tension is too loose, the thread easily slides down with no resistance.
