Please call 1-800-8-BATTERY for information on Li-ion battery recycling and disposal bans/restrictions in your area, or return your batteries to a Skil/Bosch/Dremel Service Center for recycling. BATTERY REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS Run motor until battery is completely discharged before attempting to remove battery from your tool. Wrap heavy insulating tape around battery terminals or enclose in a sealable plastic bag to prevent possible shorting. Dispose of battery through your local waste removal authority or a Skil Service Center. Remove the seven (7) housing screws with a flat blade screwdriver. Remove housing cover by lifting upward from front end of tool. CAUTION completely discharged before attempting to remove battery from your tool. Dispose of battery through your local waste removal authority or a Skil Service Center. Loosen the nut with a large wrench in direction of arrow (A) and completely unthread nut. Remove head assembly and nut from the tool. Pull and remove metal front end in direction of arrow (B) to expose and remove the two T6 torx head screws. Remove housing cover by lifting upward from front end of tool. Wrap heavy insulating tape around battery IMPORTANT: Some of the following symbols may be used on your tool. Please study them and learn their meaning. Proper interpretation of these symbols will allow you to operate the tool better and safer.
