[. . . ] unplug tool before removing/mounting backing pads Mounting sanding discs - simply press sanding disc C onto backing pad with perforation in sanding disc corresponding with perforation in backing pad - if necessary, clean backing pad first !the dust suction requires the use of perforated sanding discs Dust suction 3 For optimal dust pick-up performance - mount dustbag E - empty dustbag regularly !do not use dustbag when sanding metal On/off - before switching on the tool, you should place it with the entire sanding surface on the workpiece - when switching on, do not apply too much pressure on the tool - switch on/off the tool by pulling/releasing trigger F !be aware of the sudden impact when the tool is switched on !before switching off the tool, you should lift it from the workpiece Switch lock 4 - pull trigger F - press knob G with your thumb - release the trigger - unlock the switch by pulling again trigger F and then releasing it Speed control (7406) For optimal sanding results on different materials - with wheel H you can adjust the sanding speed stepless from minimum to maximum - always adjust speed to grit size used - before starting a job, find the optimal speed by testing out on spare material Holding and guiding the tool 5 - guide the tool parallel to the working surface and move it in circles or in a cross pattern - do not tilt the tool in order to avoid deep unwanted sanding marks - keep the ventilation slots uncovered Sanding - the amount of material removed is determined by the speed of the sanding disc - the speed of the sanding disc diminishes relative to the pressure applied to the tool Auxiliary handle - loosen nut K almost completely - push down handle J into desired position - tighten nut firmly SECURITE INSTRUCTIONS GENERALES DE SECURITE ATTENTION!Le non-respect des instructions indiques ci-aprs peut entraner un choc lectrique, un incendie et/ou de graves blessures sur les personnes. Les outils lectroportatifs gnrent des tincelles risquant d'enflammer les poussires ou les vapeurs. c) Tenez les enfants et autres personnes loigns durant l'utilisation de l'outil lectroportatif. En cas d'inattention vous risquez de perdre le contrle sur l'appareil. 2) SECURITE RELATIVE AU SYSTEME ELECTRIQUE a) La fiche de secteur de l'outil lectroportatif doit tre approprie la prise de courant. N'utilisez pas de fiches d'adaptateur avec des appareils avec mise la terre. Les fiches non modifies et les prises de courant appropries rduisent le risque de choc lectrique. b) Evitez le contact physique avec des surfaces mises la terre tels que tuyaux, radiateurs, fours et rfrigrateurs. Il y a un risque lev de choc lectrique au cas o votre corps serait reli la terre. c) N'exposez pas l'outil lectroportatif la pluie ou l'humidit. La pntration d'eau dans un outil lectroportatif augmente le risque d'un choc lectrique. d) N'utilisez pas le cble d'autres fins que celles prvues, n'utilisez pas le cble pour porter l'appareil ou pour l'accrocher ou encore pour le dbrancher de la prise de courant. Maintenez le cble loign des sources de chaleur, des parties grasses, des bords tranchants ou des parties de l'appareil en rotation.
