[. . . ] The screen below will be displayed when the charge function is selected. SELECT CHARGE TYPE MANUAL TOP OFF CAPACITY CHART DISPLAY MODE EXIT The menu options are as follows. MANUAL: Allows you to manually enter the amount of refrigerant to be charged into a fully vacuumed system. DO NOT use this selection to top off a charged system. NOTE: This is the main charge screen used for all charging functions. Tank Wgt _____lbs _____oz LOW ____ GO HIGH ____ EXIT CHARGE AMOUNT _____lbs _____oz : Press and hold button to increase charge weight. The charge amount increases faster as the button is held. : Press and hold button to decrease charge weight. This is used to fine tune the charge amount. HOLD: Only displays after the GO button is pushed. Press the HOLD button to interrupt the charge process. Press again to restart the charge process from the interruption point. EXIT: Stops the charge process and returns the display to the main menu. TOP OFF: Allows the addition of refrigerant to a charged system. VEHICLE MUST BE RUNNING & AC SYSTEM ON MAX. AIR, LOW FAN TO TOP OFF SYSTEM 14 15 CONTINUE 1. The main screen shown in manual charge will display when the CONTINUE button is pushed. Enter the charge amount desired then press GO to start the charge. The machine will follow the manual charge operation sequence. DISPLAY MODE: Press this button to select the type of measurement desired. Kilograms will be displayed in hundredths (. 85 Kg). Pressures will be displayed in PSI, Kpa or mBAR. CHART: Allows the charge amount to be entered in the charge screen from the refrigerant capacity chart. NOTES: Capacities shown in lbs/oz are automatically converted to Kg when using metric weight. Some M/Y/M information may not be included in the chart. Always check the vehicle information for the correct charge amount. Press the CAPACITY CHART button to access the capacity chart information.
