SMC's EZ Card 1000 is a Gigabit Ethernet network interface card for 32and 64-bit PCI local bus computers. Intelligent interrupt management and IP,  TCP and UDP checksum off-loading minimises host CPU time. Operating in full-duplex mode on a 64-bit PCI machine,  this card delivers an extremely high level of throughput to the host computer. The EZ Card 1000`s comprehensive set of features also includes advanced features such as VLAN tagging,  Quality of Service (QoS) priority queuing,  full duplex flow control and Jumbo Frame support. What's more,  in a Windows NT environment the card's features are completely configurable through a convenient configuration and diagnostics utility.
