USE OF THE OVEN Before using the oven make sure that the electronic programmer displays the symbol (see paragraph "5. 2. 1 Clock adjustment") or that the analog programmer shows the symbol (see paragraph "5. 3. 5 Manual cooking"). 7. 1 Warnings and general advice Before using the oven for the first time, pre-heat it to maximum temperature (250C) long enough to burn any manufacturing oily residues which could give the food a bad taste. In the models fitted with an electronic programmer, a power failure causes the display to start flashing and the symbol to appear. To re-adjust, see paragraph "0 Electronic Programmer ". To prevent any steam in the oven creating problems, open the door in two stages: half open (5 cm approx. ) for 4-5 seconds and then fully open.
