Safety instructions 1. 2 This user manual This user manual is an integral part of the appliance and must therefore be kept in its entirety and in an accessible place for the whole working life of the appliance. 1. 3 Appliance purpose This appliance is intended for cooking food in the home environment. This appliance must not be used by people (including children) of reduced physical and mental capacity, or lacking in experience in the use of electrical appliances, unless they are supervised or instructed by adults who are responsible for their safety. 1. 4 General safety instructions For your safety and to avoid damage to the appliance, always respect the general safety instructions indicated below. [. . . ] A few seconds after selecting the required time, symbol will stop flashing and timed cooking will start from that moment. Cooking will be interrupted and a buzzer will sound which can be deactivated by pressing the temperature selection knob. You can also set an additional cooking time in timed mode by turning the temperature selection knob. At the end of cooking, the temperature selection knob can be turned to stop the buzzer and set another cooking time. 27 EN Modifying the set data Timed cooking Use To extend the cooking time in manual mode, press the temperature selection knob again. The appliance will restart its normal operation with the previously selected cooking settings. To completely switch off the appliance, press the On/off knob for 2 seconds. Modifying the set data Once timed cooking has started, its duration can be changed. When symbol is steady and the appliance is in the cooking phase, press the temperature selection knob. Turn the temperature knob to the right or to the left to alter the preset cooking time. Modifying the cooking function does not stop the countdown previously set Programmed cooking Programmed cooking is the function which allows a cooking operation to be started at a set time and then ended after a specific length of time set by the user. 1. Select a cooking function as described in “Selecting a cooking function”. The selected recipe will light up on the display. Cooking will start with the preset parameters (symbols and lit up). When the preset temperature is reached, a sequence of acoustic signals will sound and the display and the temperature selection knob will start to flash to indicate that food can now be put into the oven. The oven will maintain its internal temperature and remain in this condition until the temperature selection knob is pressed to start cooking. The cooking time as specified in the table “Table of predefined recipes:” starts from this moment. To switch the appliance completely off, hold the On/off knob down for 2 seconds. Modifying the set data During cooking with a recipe, it is possible to modify the preset temperature by turning the temperature selection knob. To alter the time, press the temperature selection knob then turn it right or left.
