USE OF THE OVENS 7. 1 Warnings and general advice Before using the oven for the first time, pre-heat it to maximum temperature (250°C) long enough to burn any manufacturing oily residues which could give the food a bad taste. If both ovens are in use at the same time, there may be problems with delicate cooking processes. To avoid problems that may be caused by any vapour in the ovens, open the doors in two phases: keep them half open (about 5 cm) for 4-5 seconds then open them completely.
