Automatic switch-off (timer) The timer can be used to automatically switch off the cooking zone after a certain period of time. Times ranging from 1 minute to 99 minutes can be set. Select a power setting for the cooking zone and place a pan on the zone. Press the plus key of the timer in order to select the cooking time. The minus key of the timer can be used to reduce the setting. The display will indicate the cooking time selected. The setting can be adjusted with the control dial 3. Once the time has lapsed the cooking zone will switch off and a timelimited signal will sound.
