For heavy or thick mixes,  however,  it is best to use high speed (nÂº 5) right from the start to prevent the motor from locking.  â· Make sure that the rods can turn freely in the container.  â· The TURBO button (4) enables you to use the blender at the highest speed possible for a few seconds.
