[. . . ] The average weight of clothes, including shoes, is usually 1-2. If you notice any malfunction in the scales, take them to an Authorised Technical Service shop for inspection and repair. â· Do not use the scales when your feet are wet or when the surface is wet; you could slip. Before using your scales for the first time, remove the plastic cover. open the battery compartment and remove the protection that prevents it from contact. In this compartment, there is a tab to select the unit of measurement. Select the unit of measurement you prefer (kg/lb/st) by moving the tab. If you place the scales on a surface that is too soft, such as a rug, the folds may affect the precision of the weight shown. â· To turn it on, tap the surface with your foot and then remove your foot from the scales. â· Wait until the display turns to `0. Select your user number by pressing the corresponding button. The display flashes twice and then shows your weight. â· These scales turn off automatically after ten seconds without use. Note: if you do not wait before getting on the scales, an error will occur. If this happens, get off the scales, wait for them to turn off and start again at point three. â· If you weigh over the maximum limit (150 kg), the display shows the error message `ERR'. [. . . ] When you want to dispose of the appliance, NEVER throw it in the rubbish bin. Take it to your nearest CLEAN POINT or the waste collection centre closest to your home for processing.
