[. . . ] IMPORTANT: When you want to dispose of the appliance, NEVER throw it in the rubbish bin. Take it to your nearest CLEAN POINT or the waste collection centre closest to your home for processing. You will thus be helping to take care of the environment. [. . . ] If you detect any anomaly in the appliance or in the mains cable, do not use it and take it to an Authorised Technical Service. ⷠIf the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer or by your after-sales service shop or similar qualified personnel to prevent possible hazards. ⷠDo not use parts or accessories not supplied or recommended by SOLAC. ⷠBefore plugging the appliance into the mains, check the voltage indicated is the same as that in your home. ⷠAlways unplug the appliance after use and before assembling or dismantling any parts or carrying out any maintenance or cleaning tasks. The appliance should be switched off when you plug it in or unplug it. ⷠNever pull the cable or use it to hang up the appliance. Unplug the appliance using the plug, never the cable. Do not use near bathtubs, sinks, showers or other recipients containing water. If it falls into water, do NOT try to pick it up. Never immerse the main body in water or any other liquid, or put it in the dishwasher. The appliance should not come into contact with water during cleaning. For maximum efficiency, the plates reach the temperature used by professionals (190ºC). Do not touch the plates or the case covering them, as they reach very high temperatures. Do not touch the appliance with wet hands when in operation. Comfortable use, we recommend switching them on immediately before using them. [. . . ] You can use the thermal bag to store the straightener, even when the plates are still hot. 1 Before cleaning the appliance, make sure it is unplugged from the mains. 2 Make sure the plates are cool before cleaning the appliance.
