[. . . ] € Children between the ages of 3 and 8 years must only switch the appliance on/off when it has been placed in its normal operating position and under supervision or when they have received instructions on how to use the appliance safely and understand the risks that this entails. Children between 3 years of age and 8 years of age must not plug in, adjust or clean the appliance or perform maintenance tasks. PRECAUTION: Some parts of this product may become very hot and cause burns. Please be especially careful when children and vulnerable people are present. [. . . ] € Before plugging the appliance into the mains, check that the indicated voltage is the same as in your home. € Always unplug the appliance after use and before assembling or removing parts, and performing any maintenance or cleaning operations. Also unplug it in the case of a power cut. The appliance must be switched off before plugging or unplugging it into the mains • Never pull the cord or use it to hang up the appliance. Always unplug the appliance by pulling the connection pin, and not the cord. € Make sure the cord does not come into contact with sharp edges or hot surfaces. Do not leave the cord hanging over the edge of a table or worktop, to prevent children from pulling it and causing the appliance to fall. € Remove all elements from the inside or outside of the appliance used for protection during transport or for sales promotions, such as paper or plastic bags, plastic sheets, cardboard and stickers. € Do not use the appliance on wet surfaces or outdoors. € Do not obstruct the air inlets or place any objects on top of the vents or openings of the appliance, since this could cause an electrical shock. • Always place the fan heater on a solid , flat and horizontal surface. Do not place it on excessively soft surfaces such as a bed. € Leave sufficient space around the fan heater (at least one metre) • Always make sure you turn off the power switch (1) and unplug the appliance from the mains when not in use. € Do not touch the grill, since it can become very hot. € Do not place the cable under carpets or under any other kind of material. € Do not place the appliance on top of the power cord when the appliance is hot. Do not operate the appliance with the cable wound up. B • Do not leave the fan heater unattended for long periods of time. (for example, several weeks in an unoccupied summer residence) • Do not use the fan heater in rooms with a ceiling height under 4m2. When you want to dispose of the appliance, NEVER throw it in the rubbish bin. [. . . ] € Clean the intake and outlet grille, using a vacuum cleaner if necessary. Z If the appliance does not work normally after these checks, please take it to an Official Service Shop. i This fan heater is an excellent source of additional heat: It 3 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE unplugged from the mains.
