Note Enjoying the Sound at Low Volume (NIGHT MODE) You can enjoy sound effects or dialog, as you would in a movie theater, even at low volume. It is useful for watching movies at night. · To receive the Dolby Digital signal, you need to connect a digital satellite receiver to the control unit with an optical or coaxial digital cord (page 25) and set the digital output mode of the digital satellite receiver to Dolby Digital. Other Operations NIGHT With the cover opened. Press NIGHT. AUDIO "NIGHT" lights up in the front panel display and the sound effect is activated. Tip With the cover opened. Press AUDIO. · To enjoy more effects, set [AUDIO DRC] to [STANDARD] or [MAX] (page 92). Press AUDIO repeatedly until the signal you want appears in the front panel display. · "MAIN": Sound of the main language will be output. · "SUB": Sound of the sub language will be output. · "MAIN+SUB": Mixed sound of both the main and sub languages will be output. To turn off the sound effect Press NIGHT again. 75US Using the Sleep Timer You can set the system to turn off at a preset time, so you can fall asleep listening to music. You can preset the time in 10 minutes decrements. Changing the Brightness of the Front Panel Display The brightness of the front panel display can be set to either of 2 levels.
