Basic Operations Other operations You can control your iPod with the following buttons on the remote or unit. The remote buttons are assigned to control functions on CHANNEL B, if you want to control the iPod connected to the iPod 1 connector, press and hold CHANNEL A, then press the button you want. If you want to control the iPod using the remote, press and hold CHANNEL A, then press the button you want. · When you connect an iPod to the unit, the iPod is automatically turned on if the system is turned on. · When placing or removing the iPod, handle the iPod in the same angle as that of the iPod connector on the unit and do not twist or sway the iPod to prevent connector damage. · Do not carry the unit with an iPod set on the connector. Doing so may cause a malfunction. Pause playback Scroll up/down the iPod menus Press HS (or X on the remote). Turn the JOG DIAL (or press V/v repeatedly on the remote).
