[. . . ] Push the disc onto the hub until the disc clicks into place Press here to click disk in place , , , , Be sure to seat the CD-ROM disc firmly over the CD-ROM drive hub fingers. If you do not seat the disc firmly, you could damage your CD-ROM drive. 38 VAIO MiniNotebook Computer User Guide 4 Gently press on the CD-ROM drive lid until it clicks shut Power/Busy indicator Press here to close lid To play an audio CD in the CD-ROM drive In addition to connecting the CD-ROM drive to your computer, you must connect the drive to the computer with a male-to-male stereo mini plug (not supplied). 1 Connect one end of the stereo mini plug to the headphone jack on the CD-ROM drive and the other end to the Line In jack on the left side of your computer. to Line In to Headphone Audio cable (SELV, according to EN 60950) 2 3 Right-click the speaker icon on the taskbar and select Open Volume Control from the shortcut menu. When you make the PowerPanel timer setting that allows your computer to enter system suspend or system hibernation mode, your computer may enter system suspend or system hibernation mode while you are using the USB device, such as a USB mouse or USB keyboard. Therefore, when using USB devices, select AC Profile or change the profile setting in PowerPanel so that the computer does not enter system suspend or system hibernation mode. In the factory preset setting, AC Profile does not allow the computer to enter system suspend or system hibernation mode. The Player bar appears as a single control bar across the top of the screen, with buttons similar to the controls on a VCR or CD-player remote control.
