Washing with water effectively removes bran quickly and thoroughly. Use the RICE PADDLE, or other long handled utensils, to mix the rice well to allow steam to escape. Do not touch the INNER POT or HEATING UNIT until they have cooled. Allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning. Disconnect the plug from the wall outlet when not in use. Clean and prepare your food or vegetables.
