Setting the Reference Altitude Setting the unit using reference altitude leads to the most accurate altimeter readings. Note: It is not necessary to set or change each menu item. You can PRESS the Center button until the display menu item to adjust flashes. Located in Field 4 the altitude difference from previous zeroing begins to flash. PRESS either the [+] button or the [-] button to toggle between the current altitude difference and zeroing. PRESS the Center button to accept the choice and move to next menu Setting the Altitude Alarm. Alternatively, PRESS and HOLD the Center button for 2 seconds to accept any changes made and return to the [ALTI] main mode. This will reset the altitude measurement and begin displaying the difference in altitude. Setting the Altitude Alarm In the [ALTI] mode: 1.
