USING STOPWATCH AND SETTING ALARMS You can use Suunto G6 as a stopwatch or as a tool to remind yourself of an important event with an alarm. Using the stopwatch You can start the stopwatch when you are in the Time mode. Press the BACK/ALT button a few times, until 0. 00, 0 (min. sec) is displayed on the bottom row. TIP: You can mark a split time by pressing SELECT. The split time is displayed for a moment and then the timer continues to run. Press the BACK/ALT button to stop the timer. You can restart the timer by pressing the SELECT button. NOTE: You can reset the stopwatch with a long press of the BACK/ALT button. Setting an alarm You can set an alarm to remind yourself of an important event. When an alarm is set, is displayed in the lower right corner of the display.
