Select a waypoint with UP/DOWN and long press ENTER. The navigation to the waypoint is activated and the waypoint name and distance to the destination among other things are displayed on the screen. 4. To stop the My Point navigation, select a new method of navigation. Alarm points You can use the alarm points, for example, to warn you about rocks and other hazards. You can set 10 alarm points in the MyPoints function and also 10 for each route. The alarm points for MyPoints are always active when the GPS is on. The alarm points for each route are active when you navigate on the selected route. When you enter the within the defined radius from the alarm point, for example 0. 10 km, the alarm goes on. When the alarm is activated, Suunto GPS POD displays the name of the alarm point on the top row. The second row displays the text `WAYPOINT ALARM'. And the third row displays the distance to the alarm point. You can also accept a lower accuracy by pressing ENTER. Erasing a route To erase a route: 1. In the Set menu, scroll to Route and press ENTER. 2. Select the route you wish to erase with UP/DOWN and press ENTER. Suunto GPS POD asks you to confirm the action. Suunto GPS POD displays the message `ERASING ROUTE', after which you return to the Route menu. Erasing waypoints To erase a waypoint: 1. In the Set menu, scroll to Route and press ENTER. 2. Select a route with UP/DOWN and press ENTER. Select a waypoint with UP/DOWN and press ENTER. 4. Scroll to Erase in the waypoint menu and press ENTER. Suunto GPS POD displays the message 'ERASE WAYPOINT?'. 5. Press ENTER to confirm the action or STOP/BACK to keep the waypoint.
