FW004 Sweex FireWire PC Card

Introduction
First of all,  many thanks for purchasing this Sweex FireWire PC Card.  [. . . ] A cable which is connected incorrectly may damage the device. 

Connections
The Sweex FireWire PC Card contains the following connections: · 3 x External IEEE1394a 6-pin connection · Connection for possible external power supply (12 VDC 3A)

We advise you to ensure the operating system is up-to-date before starting the installation. This is easy to check by starting up Internet Explorer and selecting the option "Windows Update" (Windows Update) in the "Extra" (Extra) menu. The installation of the FireWire PC Card is very straightforward,  once inserted the FireWire PC Card is detected automatically. The following screen appears:

Here click "Next". 

Select the option "Search for the best driver for your device". 

Tick the option "CD-ROM". Then click "Next". 

Finally,  click "Next" to finalise the installation. Windows installs the driver from the Windows 98SE CD-ROM. Click "Finish" to complete the installation process.
