Do not expose the Sweex Universal Remote Control 4 in1 to extreme temperatures. Do not place the device in direct sunlight or in the direct vicinity of heating elements. · Do not use the Sweex Universal Remote Control 4in1 in extremely dusty or moist surroundings. [. . . ] Check one of the buttons to verify whether the button functions. Check, for example, the On/Off button to check whether the device responds. Push [OK] to save the settings if the buttons function correctly. Comment: The code is invalid if the red light flickers twice and remains on after the code has been inserted. Push the [SET] button, the red light will flicker once. If there is no code available for your device, then try the Power Searching function.

With Power Searching you can automatically have the Sweex Universal Remote Control search and set the settings of the device to be operated. Switch on the device you wish to operate and aim the Sweex Universal Remote Control at the same. Push the (TV, SAT, VCR, DVD) button on the Sweex Universal Remote Control which corresponds with the device you wish to operate. The red light on the Sweex Universal Remote Control will light up once. Keep the [SET] button pushed until the red light switches on. Push the On/Off button on the Sweex Universal Remote Control. The red light will switch off and will flicker every three seconds. The Sweex Universal Remote Control is now looking for the correct settings of your device. During the search you can determine the direction of the search with the [Up] and [Down] buttons. [. . . ] Switch on your device to check whether the buttons function correctly.
