Select the Laptop monitor using the drop down list and uncheck the box "extend the desktop onto this monitor" (for Vista) or " Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor" (for XP) and click "Apply" Upon reconnection, the monitor attached to the Docking Station will return to primary mode. If the Docking Station is powered off or the USB cable is removed from the computer, the display blanks. However, windows and icons that were previously on the screen will not be moved back.
