When operating the remote control unit, point it towards the remote sensor on the front panel of the unit. < Even if the remote control unit is operated within the effective range, remote control operation may be impossible if there are any obstacles between the unit and the remote control. < When you don't use the Dock, use the supplied cover for the Dock to prevent dust from settling on the Dock. Fit the front edge of the adapter into the Dock, and then press the back edge of the adapter onto the Dock until a slight "click" is heard indicating the adapter is inserted correctly. In case your iPod will not work with the MC-DX32i or with the remote control unit, software update may solve the problem. < If you press and hold the TIME SET button for 3 seconds in CD or TUNER mode, the clock will be displayed for a few seconds.
