Depending on the DVD disc, some operations may be different or restricted. Refer to the jacket or case of the disc you are playing. 19 Basic Playback Exchanging discs during playback DVDC 9 5 5-DI SC DVD /CD CH ANGER Press DISC EXCHANGE during playback to open the loading drawer. Press DISC SKIP to rotate the disc trays to the desired position. The carousel will move clockwise by one disc tray. Note: The disc tray which was in the play position can not be exchanged. Exchange the discs and press DISC EXCHANGE or OPEN/CLOSE to close the loading drawer. Skipping discs Press DISC SKIP during play or in the stop mode. Each time the button is pressed, the next disc tray is selected. Notes When the DISC SKIP is pressed during play or in the stop mode, the disc trays rotate and play begins from the beginning of the next disc. If there is no disc on the selected disc tray, the disc tray of the next number will be selected. When DISC SKIP is pressed during playback of disc 5, playback of disc 1 will start. Exchanging the disc and starting playback Press OPEN/CLOSE during playback or in the stop mode. Play is stopped (if pressed during playback), the loading drawer is opened and the disc tray which was in the play position comes to the center position. Exchange the disc in the center position. Center position Press OPEN/CLOSE or PLAY again. The loading drawer is closed, the disc tray returns to the play position and play begins from the new disc. 20 Basic Playback Stopping Play Press STOP during playback. DVDC 9 5 5-DI SC DVD /CD CH ANGER Resume Play When play is stopped, the unit records the point where STOP was pressed (RESUME function).
