The flexible cord insulation should be stripped back as appropiate and a suitable alternative plug fitted. [. . . ] - Not all frozen foods are ready to use. Check the manufacturer's instructions. ! · After the temperature indicator light has gone out, press the locking button on the basket raising/lowering handle (1). · Fold back the handle slowly and fully into its housing (2). Do not push on the raising/lowering handle : always press first on the raising/lowering handle's locking button. Set the timer (depending on model) · Press the button to set the time, minute by minute. The time displayed is selected and the countdown begins. · If you make a mistake, or want to cancel the time selected, press the button for 2 seconds. · To stop the timer alarm, press the button. ! The timer signals that the cooking time is complete, but does not stop the deep fryer. 0 5 ENG Cooking Keep an eye on the cooking · During cooking, it is normal for the temperature indicator light to light up and go out regularly. !! the steam coming from the lid, the glass and metallic parts are extremely hot. Caution: Never place your hand or your face over the filter. Do not touch the metal casing or the window. Never remove the bowl while the deep fryer is switched on. To prepare to use a second time: - wait for the temperature indicator light to go out before lowering the foods into the oil. - adjust the oil level according to the quantity of food to be fried. ! · Leave the deep fryer to cool (2 to 3 hours). ·Tidy away the plug (certain countries only) · Wait until your deep fryer has cooled Never move the fryer with the lid open. ! 6 down completely before moving it. · Hold it securely, low down. (recommended if you do not use the deep fryer often). It is not necessary to store oil in a refrigerator. Filtering the oil With a filter paper (available from approved Service Centres). · Wait for the oil to become lukewarm. · Empty the oil gently into a pan.
