[. . . ] Casablanca Owners Manual Addendum Circle Surround and Spatializer Circle Surround With the optional Circle Surround board installed, the user can select one of 3 Circle Surround modes, in the second page of the MODE menu. [. . . ] In all 3 Circle Surround modes, the center channel operates dynamically, so as to avoid collapsing any stereo imaging that may be present toward the center channel. Additionally, all Circle Surround modes provide multi-band left/right steering in the surround channels. When source music is Circle encoded, the intended Circle mode is ENC, whereas the NON-EN mode is intended to be selected for music sources that are not Circle encoded. CINE is a non-encoded selection intended to be used for mono, stereo or matrixed film sources.
