[. . . ] Never use chemical or abrasive products for cleaning. Do not leave the monitor running unattended while connected to the GameCube or other AV source. Do not leave GameCube games on pause as this may permanently burn the image onto the screen. Do not position the monitor near any heat-producing source or in direct sunlight. Disconnect the AV cable and power cable from the back of your GameCube. Insert the monitor into the console,  pressing firmly on the fixing device (8). WARNING: when installing/removing the monitor make sure that the monitor is folded forwards over the console to avoid damaging the equipment. Connect the AV IN cable (11) on the monitor to the ANALOG AV OUT socket at the back of the console. Connect one branch (13a) of the DC adaptor cable (13) to the DC IN 12V cable (12) on the monitor and the other branch (13b) to the DC 12V IN socket at the back of the console. Connect the DC OUT (13c) either to the GameCube power adaptor (14) OR to the cigarette lighter socket in the car,  via the car adaptor (15).  [. . . ] Set the GAME/AV switch (4) to the AV position. Set the POWER switch (3) to the ON position before turning your external video device on.  [. . . ]
