Please contact your cable or satellite provider. Owner's Record The model number and serial number are on the back of your TV. Record these numbers in the spaces below. Refer to these numbers whenever you communicate with your Toshiba dealer about this TV. [. . . ] Flashing orange. POWER LED Solid orange. Solid green. Not lit. Solid green. Power OFF Operation status . Press the POWER button on the TV side panel. Note: Allow at least 40 seconds for the lamp to cool down before you press the POWER key a second time to turn off the TV. TV status Lamp cooling. "Ready" LED Flashing orange. POWER LED Solid orange. . Power OFF successful. TV is off (no picture). Not lit. Solid orange. Setting the Quick RestartTM feature When the Quick RestartTM feature set to YES, the TV will stay in Low Power Shutdown mode for several minutes after the TV is turned off. When the Quick RestartTM feature set to YES and the TV is turned on from Low Power Shutdown mode, the picture appears immediately. (See "Important notice about hot lamp restart, " at right. ) To set the Quick RestartTM feature: . Press MENU, and then press or until the SETUP menu appears. Note: If Quick RestartTM is set to NO and you turn off the TV, it can take a few minutes for the picture to appear when you turn on the TV again. This is a function of the Quick RestartTM Low Power Shutdown mode and is not a TV malfunction. If you do not prefer this, set the Quick RestartTM feature to NO. When the Quick RestartTM feature is set to NO, if you repeatedly turn the TV on and off in a short period of time, the useful service life of the lamp may be shorter than the average useful service life. IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT HOT LAMP RESTART When the TV has been powered on long enough for the lamp unit to get hot, it may take several minutes for the picture to appear in the following situations: · When the Quick Restart feature is set to NO and your turn the TV off and then on again within a few minutes; or · If the TV is on when a short-term power failure, power surge, or other similar power failure occurs, such that the TV loses and regains power within a few minutes. This is a property of DLP TV lamp technology and is NOT a sign of malfunction. If this occurs, the power and the lamp LEDs on the TV will blink until the TV is finished restarting the lamp and the normal picture appears. 9 7 Using the TV's features Navigating the menus .
