It is recommended that important data stored in your Pocket PC should be saved to a memory card (sold separately) or your personal computer (data transfer with ActiveSync) on a regular basis. To view a contact not assigned to a category, select None. I To view the names of companies your contacts work for, in the contact list, tap View > By Company. The number of contacts that work for that company will be displayed to the right of the company name. I Tap , Find, enter the contact name, select Contacts for the type, and then tap Go. View contact details. Tap to change contact information. Tap to view notes. Instruction Manual 4-7 Microsoft Pocket Outlook Tasks: Keeping a To Do List Use Tasks to keep track of what you have to do. Select the category of tasks you want displayed in the list. Select the sort order of the list. Indicates high priority. Tap to display or edit the task details. Tap and hold to display a pop-up menu of actions. Tap to create a new task. To change the way information is displayed in the list, tap Tools and then Options. Notes is a good place for maps and drawings. 2. Using the input panel, enter a description. You can enter a start date and due date or enter other information by first tapping the field. If the input panel is open, you will need to hide it to see all available fields. To assign the task to a category, tap Categories and select a category from the list. In the task list, you can display tasks by category. You can enter text, draw, or create a recording. For more information on creating notes, see "Notes: Capturing Thoughts and Ideas, " later in this chapter. When finished, tap OK to return to the task list. To quickly create a task with only a subject, tap Entry Bar on the Tools menu. Then, tap Tap here to add a new task and enter your task information. You can create a written note or a recording. You can also include a recording in a note. If a note is open when you create the recording, it will be included in the note as an icon. If the note list is displayed, it will be created as a stand-alone recording. Tap to change the sort order of the list. Tap to open a note or play a recording. Some malfunction The screen was tapped, but Some malfunction there is no response. The operation button does not work either. The screen is dark. The front light is off. The screen is hard to see. Brightness setting is incorrect. Can not connect to your computer. ActiveSync does not function when your Pocket PC is connected to your computer with a USB cradle or USB cable. -- "USB SETUP TOOL" was not executed.
