If more than one soundtrack is available, use the s button to select between them. 32 CONTROLS AND FEATURES Software Upgrade Version This feature can be used to check the version of software currently installed. Searching for New Software If preferred, software upgrades can be searched for manually using Search for New Software. a b In the Software Upgrade menu press B or b to select Search for New Software. HDMITM displays equipment connected to Input HDMI on the back or side of the television. PC displays a computer connected to Input RGB/PC on the back of the television. 35 CONTROLS AND FEATURES PC Audio In order to receive sound from a connected PC, plug the audio cable into the back of the television (as shown in `Connecting a computer' section), then use the PC/HDMI1 Audio setting. Lip Sync Latency Lip Sync can synchronize the sound and picture. This feature is only available for HDMI equipment compatible with Lip Sync. NOTE: Disconnect the HDMI cable before changing the Lip Sync setting. If the HDMI cable is connected, a message will appear. a b In the SETUP menu press b until AV Connection is highlighted, then press Q. Highlight PC/HDMI1 Audio then use c to select the PC option. AV Connection a b Select the appropriate HDMI input from the input selection window. In the AV Connection menu press b to highlight Lip Sync. Using C or c select On or Off. English PC/HDMI1 Audio HDMI1 Audio Lip Sync EXT2 Input Woofer Digital Output PC Digital Off AV Internal PCM c Digital Output When connecting a surround sound amplifier to the digital audio output (Sony/Philips Digital Interface Format [S/PDIF]), the following options can be selected. PCM: this mode outputs PCM format to the digital audio output socket. Auto: this mode outputs Dolby Digital or PCM to the digital audio output socket providing it is being broadcast. Dolby Digital S Dolby Digital Dolby Digital Plus S Dolby Digital MPEG S PCM NOTE: Selecting the PC option will force HDMI1 Audio to Digital mode. HDMI1 Audio If the connected HDMI source does not support digital audio, plug the audio cable into PC/HDMI1 (AUDIO) on the back of the television (as shown in the `Connecting an HDMITM or DVI device to the HDMI input' section), then use the HDMI1 Audio setting. a b In the AV Connection menu press b to highlight PC/ HDMI1 Audio and using c select HDMI1.
