This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. [. . . ] Red-eye is reduced mode effectively if the subject looks directly towards the camera. Effectiveness is also increase if the distance between the subject and camera is kept as short as possible. Playing Back Images [ ] Forced Flash The flash is forced to fire regardless of the brightness of subjects. Use the Forced Flash mode when the subject is backlit, or in artificial light (fluorescent light, etc). The flash also fires during macro photography. Erasing Images [ ] Suppressed Flash The flash never fires regardless of the brightness of subjects. Use the Suppressed Flash mode when you are taking pictures in indoor lightning at distances too great for the flash to have any effect, such as theater performances or indoor sporting events.
