ANSWERING A CALL WITH CALLER ID SERVICE 1 When the caller ID message is received, the display shows the caller's phone number along with the date and time. The LCD will show another incoming call even if you are currently engaged in a telephone conversation. This feature can be enabled or disabled. If enabled, it informs the user of a new incoming call by generating short beeps at regular intervals until the call is either answered, or the person calling hangs up. With Caller ID on call waiting, you can see who's calling to decide if you want to interrupt your current conversation to answer the incoming call.
