TG-5269 keeps low cost and eliminates usage barriers. It is the easiest way to upgrade a network from 10M to 100M and 1000Mbps. Supports 10Mbps, 100Mbps and 1000Mbps network speed both in Half-Duplex and Full-Duplex transfer modes, using Auto-Negotiation technology to detect the network speed. It will light when connection is built, and glitter when the Card is transmitting or receiving data. The 100M Link/Act of TG-5269 indicates Link/Act status when the Card is working in the 100M mode. It will light when connection is built, and glitter when the Card is transmitting or receiving data. 2 TG-5269 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet PC Card User Guide Chapter 2 Installation 2. 1 Hardware Installation To install the Card, follow these steps as below: Step 1: Locate an available CardBus slot on your laptop. Step 2: With the connector pin end facing the CardBus slot and the label facing up, slide the Card into the CardBus slot until it locks in place. Step 3: The promoted Found New Hardware Wizard screen will pop up when the adapter is installed correctly. Note: After you have inserted the Card in your laptop, you should install the driver for the Card.
