Manual abstract: user guide TRAYNOR 200KB

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] When using electric products, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following: Your unit should be connected to a power source only of the voltage specified in the owners manual or as marked on the unit. Do not use with an extension cord or receptacle unless the plug can be fully inserted. Precautions should be taken so that the grounding scheme on the unit is not defeated. Do not place this product on an unstable cart, stand, tripod, bracket or table. [. . . ] All phone jack inputs on the Yorkville 200KB can accept both balanced and unbalanced signals. The phone jack inputs are balanced TRS -- Tip(+) / Ring() / Sleeve(GND). These TRS phone jacks can also accept regular unbalanced cables. For best results and reduced noise it is advised that you use balanced (stereo) cables for interconnection wherever possible. Also, all of the phone jack outputs are electronically processed to minimize the possibility of inducedhum from equipment interconnections. Clip LEDs in all channels and busses light 3dB before clipping. ⷠChannel 1/Channel 2 -- Although these channels are optimized for microphones, the phone jack also accept line level inputs (an acoustic guitar with a pickup, electronic keyboard, Compact Disc player or other audio sources). Adjust the VOLUME controls for the level of sound desired. As Channel 1 and Channel 2 offers more gain than Channel 3 and Channel 4, it is advised that the sources with the lowest output levels be connected to Channel 1 or Channel 2. * Do not use both the phone and XLR inputs at the same time as signals will be highly attenuated. ⷠChannel 3 -- The phone jack on this channel is optimized for line level signals such as an electronic keyboard or other similar audio sources. Adjust the VOLUME control for the level of sound desired. ⷠChannel 4 -- The phone jack on this channel is optimized for line level signals such as an electronic keyboard. The RCA jacks are optimized for a Compact Disc player, cassette player, or other similar audio sources. Adjust the VOLUME control for the level of sound desired. Please note that due to the great variance between possible signal sources, it may be possible to distort the signal by adjusting the BASS or TREBLE control to an excess level. Use the EFFECTS RETURN jack to return the signal from the output of the effects unit. The LINE OUTPUT signal from the XLR and phone jack are at mixer level. This signal level is not affected by the setting of the MASTER volume control. The LINE OUTPUT signal can be used to feed a console or an amplifier. [. . . ] Unlimited Warranty Yorkville's two and ten-year unlimited warranty on this product is transferable and does not require registration with Yorkville Sound or your dealer. If this product should fail for any reason within two years of the original purchase date (ten years for the wooden enclosure), simply return it to your Yorkville dealer with original proof of purchase and it will be repaired free of charge. This includes all Yorkville products, except for the YSM Series studio monitors, Coliseum Mini Series and TX Series Loudspeakers. Freight charges, consequential damages, weather damage, damage as a result of improper installation, damages due to exposure to extreme humidity, accident or natural disaster are excluded under the terms of this warranty.
