Manual abstract: user guide TRAYNOR K2

Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

[. . . ] The apparatus should not be exposed to dripping or splashing water; no objects filled with liquids should be placed on the apparatus. Terminals marked with the "lightning bolt" are hazardous live; the external wiring connected to these terminals require installation by an instructed person or the use of ready made leads or cords. Ensure that proper ventilation is provided around the appliance. No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus. [. . . ] the K2 also serves as a convenient and powerful wedge monitor. Designed for the live stage, it's small footprint allows it to fit easily under almost any keyboard rig, the 3-way speaker system delivers a full 200watts to the stage, more than enough for most live applications. The innovative third channel post-master input (located on the back of the K2) allows an additional signal to be fed to the amplifier, without feeding it to the pre-master line output. This allows sources like monitor feeds from the front of house mix, a drum machine click tracks or cue sends to be amplified on stage by the K2, without feeding them to the house mix! ⷠPlease take a little time to read the following instructions; then plug in, switch on, and enjoy your flight · Quality component selection including the use of high-grade glass epoxy circuit boards and low noise components · XLR, RCA and ¼-inch TRS phone jacks with gold-plated contacts · Low distortion at high sound pressure levels · loaded with high quality , custom-designed speakers · Consistent box to box production using advanced quality assurance methodology and CAD/ CAM technology · Solid plywood cabinet construction, not MDF or particle board · Rubber feet on bottom and sides for convenient, compact storage · Covered by our famous 2 year unlimited* "Even if you break it" warranty There are two sets of inputs for channel 1, The selectable tube or solid state input on channel 1 allows the player to select a pristine, high-headroom solid-state clean input on channel one, or a warmer, slightly compressed tube circuit which adds warmth to digital synths and samplers. You can overdrive the input signal by increasing the gain while in the tube mode. Tip: For some good vintage organ or just to further enhance the experience, increase the gain into the white outlined area of the control while in the tube mode. You'll be pleased with the sweet overdrive and added growl of this circuit as you dial clockwise. Input clip LED The input clip LED will only turn on when the input signal from a source such as a keyboard is too hot and will clip the input circuits. To alleviate this, turn down the gain of the source unit. Tone Controls There are 3 tone controls, bass, mid and treble; these cover the entire audio spectrum. Each control permits a wide range of sonic adjustment, a boost or cut of 15 dB. the center position denotes 0 dB cut/boost. Voicing The Voicing circuit offers several pre-set user selectable tone shapes on channel one to add overall presence to further enhance specific synth sounds on the K2's first channel. For those who like to keep it simple, 4 voicing presets are available. the presets are contoured for organ , piano , live and studio. Bypassing the circuit is also available when the selector is in 12 o'clock position. Try them all and see which one meets your needs. This input can be used for an additional line-level input or a microphone-level input, and has its own dedicated three-band EQ. Channel 2, ¼ -inch / XLR Combo Input jack The combi jack can be use for Microphone or a mono ¼-inch input application. [. . . ] Note: Please note that the signal from Channel 3 does not mix in with the main bus signal and is not sent the line out. It is meant for stage monitoring only Head Phones Located on the front panel, the ¼-inch Phone jack is provided for your listening pleasure. if the jack is used , it disconnects the signal to the amplifiers thus muting the K2. Cooling system The K2 is cooled by a set of heat sinks located at the back of the unit, always keep that area clear so that the heat is dissipated properly otherwise the unit will overheat and shut down.
