These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communication. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be required to correct the interference at the user's own expense. CE Declaration of conformity This equipment complies with the requirements relating to electromagnetic compatibility, EN 55022 class A for ITE and EN 50082-1. [. . . ] The TVP-224HR is unavailable during the upgrade process, and must restart when the upgrade is completed. Any connections to or through the TVP224HR will be lost. Access Control This feature is accessed by the navigating to the Access Control menu. The Access Control feature allows administrators to restrict the level of Internet Access available to PCs on your LAN. With the default settings, everyone has unrestricted Internet access. To use this feature: 1. Set the desired restrictions on the "Default" group. All PCs are in the "Default" group unless explicitly moved to another group. Set the desired restrictions on the other groups ("Group 1", "Group 2", "Group 3" and "Group 4") as needed. Restrictions are imposed by blocking "Services", or types of connections. Common Services have not been re pre-defined. Please see common port assignment for reference to common services. 55 TVP-224HR User's Guide Access Control Screen To view this screen, select the Access Contro/Groups link from the main menu. Groups are named "Default", "Group 1", "Group 2", "Group 3" and "Group 4", and cannot be re-named. Enter the reference name / description of the workgroup. Use the Add/Delete/list scroll with the IP or MAC address field to create a group. If the current group is "Default", then members can not be added or deleted. This group contains PCs not allocated to any other group.
