Upgrade Instructions
This section provides information about upgrading an AgGPS 21A lightbar to version 5. 1 firmware.

Upgrade Process
To upgrade a 21A lightbar to version 5. 1 firmware, the process is: 1. Upgrade the lightbar using WinLightbarHost.
For specific instructions on each step of the process, use the following procedures.

Step 1: Download the Firmware Upgrade File
To download the Ag21A_v51. exe upgrade file from the Trimble website: 1. Start an Internet browser window, and in the address line, type
http://www. trimble. com/support. html.
Click the EZ-Guide link then click the Downloads link.

Click the v5. 1 - AgGPS 21A Lightbar Firmware link. The following dialog appears:

Select the Save this program to disk option, and click OK. 6.
Save the file to a folder on your computer. On your PC, go to the folder where you saved the file and double-click Ag21A_V51. exe. The following dialog appears:

7. The files are extracted to C:\My Documents\Trimble. In the main WinZip dialog shown above, click Close.

Step 2: Download WinLightbarHost

Step 3: Connect the Lightbar to your PC
Connect the lightbar to your PC using the lightbar cable (PN 30945). [. . . ] 5.
Browse to find the Ag21A_v51. bin file. You can find this in the C:\My Documents\Trimble\Ag21A_v5. 1 folder. Click Open.
