Juno SC Handheld: Modem Setup
This support note describes how to set up and use the modem and GPRS feature for the JunoTM SC handheld. Insert the SIM Card into the SIM card slot of your Juno SC handheld according to the instructions in the Juno Series User Guide. 3. Additional options appear in this dialog. 

4. If you are using a service network that requires an extra dial string,  tap Dial String Editor in the Internal Cellular Modem window. For users in the USA,  the following is an example of extra dial string entries for T-Mobile: AT+cgdcont=1, "IP", "wap. voicestream. com"<CR> Once completed,  tap Apply and then Exit. 

5. Configure your Dial-up modem connection: go to Start / Settings / Connections. Tap the Connection icon,  select My ISP and then select Add a new modem connection.

6. To select the modem,  choose Internal Cellular modem from the drop-down list and then tap Next. 
Note: The operating system takes a while to go to the next screen. 

7. Type in the number that your service network requires (many are simply *99#). For T-Mobile users,  this number is *99***1#.  [. . . ] Tap and hold the connection and then select Connect. 

11. For T-Mobile connections you do not have to do anything here; tap OK.
