[. . . ] In previous versions, if a location on the map was selected where multiple points were located, a dialog showing all nearby points would appear. Now, this dialog appears only if you select a point in which multiple points exist with the same horizontal (x, y) coordinates. If you select a location on the map where multiple points are nearby, but with different horizontal (x, y) coordinates, Trimble MEP now automatically zooms the map in to make it easier to select a point location. Trimble MEP Software Release Notes 3 DR Lay Out The Next Point and Next Line buttons are replaced with a Skip button, which enables you to select a new location on the Deck/Overhead or wall to be laid out without storing the as-staked position of the point that is currently being laid out. This is useful when the incorrect point to lay out is selected or it is not possible to mark the location of the point. Trimble MEP now displays the point name and description of the point being laid out on the Deck/Overhead as was done in versions before 2. 0. 0. When laying out a location of a penetration on a wall, you can now enter a description for the staked point. The routine for laying out points on a Deck/Overhead when the instrument has been set up without elevation is now quicker. Features Display lines and arcs You can now hide any selectable lines and arcs that are present in the Trimble MEP job file. This is similar to being able to hide point names, point descriptions, point elevations, and the DXF file. Overlapping lines Similar to the Overlapping Points function, if you select a location on the map to choose a line where multiple lines share the same direction yet may have different elevations, a dialog appears showing the overlapping lines and the point names of the end points of each line appears. 4 Trimble MEP Software Release Notes Attributes Trimble MEP can now display up to five custom attributes for each point in the job. You can use attributes to provide more detail about points, making the data in the field more feature-rich. Attributes can be used to indicate information such as size, length, system, scope, type, floor, material, or other relevant information: To view the attributes, do one of the following: · · · In the map, click Attributes. [. . . ] Attribute support is currently available only in the English version of the Trimble MEP software. Languages Trimble MEP version 2. 1. 0 is available in English, German, and Russian. A separate installer is provided for each language. Trimble MEP Software Release Notes 5 6 Trimble MEP Software Release Notes [. . . ]
