Your new radio-controlled gong offers a wide range of possible applications: quick and easy to attach, it can be used wherever there is no normal doorbell available or the installation of a conventional bell would be too complicated. It can provide useful service as an additional doorbell, e. g. [. . . ] Insert three 1. 5 V batteries of the type AA (not included in the scope of supply) according to the + and -- marks into the battery compartment. Remove the blue cover from the transmitter by pushing it upwards. Then open the transmitter housing by inserting a screwdriver into the recess at the bottom edge of the transmitter until the housing opens. Now insert the included 12 V battery into the transmitter according to the + and -- marks. The required ring or melody can be selected for the radio-controlled gong by pressing the red button on the board of the transmitter. Once you have decided which ring or melody you would like, replace the upper housing cover and press it together rmly until you feel it lock in place. Before you push the blue cover back onto the transmitter, you can write on the name plate. We recommend using a non-soluble felt pen or similar for this. The transmitter and the receiver can now be mounted in the required positions using the fastening material included. Note: The transmitter is splashwater-proof which means it can also be mounted outdoors. [. . . ] If it is mounted outdoors, we recommend screwing it in place.
